Deskside Technician

Location: Kamloops, British Columbia

We are currently hiring for positions in Kamloops, BC 

Salary Range:$55,000.00 To $75,000.00 Annually

Currently, we have an opportunity available for a Deskside Technician to work in onsite with our EUC clients.

In this technical role, you will deliver both onsite and remote support to our clients. Operating in a dynamic environment, you will address and resolve client incidents and service requests with an emphasis on surpassing customer expectations. The position requires continuous learning and adaptation to new technologies, demonstrating a commitment to ongoing professional development. Additionally, this is a traveling position, necessitating timely responses to incidents and requests within your assigned region in either Alberta or British Columbia.

  • Organizational Support – Amazingly strong organizational skills and completes administrative tasks thoroughly and on time, while following organizational best practices
  • Time Management – Prioritizes and plans work activities efficiently
  • Punctuality – Takes pride in being at work and ready for work on time and arriving at customer sites on time
  • Dependability – Follows instructions and procedures and responds to management direction positively

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability Write in both French and English
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • CompTIA A+ or equivalent experience
  • 1-2 years of previous Deskside experience
  • Good communication, time management and mathematical skills
  • Dependable and reliable
  • Attention to detail and documentation – you take pride in your work
  • Basic knowledge of desktops, laptops, printers, tablets, mobile phones, and computer related peripherals
  • Clean criminal record and driving abstract
