About the Product Development Strategist Role:

We are on the hunt for a talented sales and marketing professional to join our Strategic Business Development team. You are an ideal candidate if you have experience and a passion for creating client value through the creation and execution of go-to-market plans. You must have a genuine curiosity that drives you to understand our complex product offering and enterprise platform solutions, our clients, and our client facing team. Our ideal candidate will embrace our enterprise platform solutions and use their influence to work with colleagues across multiple departments to deliver on a product launch action plan.

This role will be a hybrid role, with the ideal candidate being located in Saskatoon or Calgary, though other locations in Western Canada will be considered for the right candidate

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and execute on strategic solution go-to-market strategies
  • Develop a strong understanding of the clients, solutions, and team members that are integral in delivering client solutions
  • Collaboratively work with sales, marketing, and sales enablement colleagues to create content that drives value throughout our client buying process
  • Drive innovation and thought leadership within our client target markets
  • Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to understand their roles and look for ways to optimize their ability to add client value
  • Create webinars, outcomes documents, proposal templates and other tools that will be utilized with our clients to create a best-in-class client experiences
  • Work with our CRM platform to identify opportunities to drive value and alignment with our strategic deal management process and marketing campaigns to create a seamless integration internally
  • Understand and positively impact our ability to tell and share client success stories, both internally and within our client community

Key Qualifications:

  • You are a product management all-star who wants to lead the development and innovation of client experience
  • You have experience working with technology solutions and have a genuine curiosity and passion for understanding how products impact client business
  • You are an organized multitasker that is able to handle many diverse projects at once, meet tight deadlines, and manage current priorities
  • You are proactive with an eagerness to learn new skills and take on new challenges
  • You have a Bachelor’s degree or diploma in marketing, management, communications, or related field
  • Preference will be given to those applicants that have past work experience driving innovation and client value through product management
  • You have excellent research, writing, and communication skills
  • You are tech savvy with proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and be comfortable learning new tools and platforms
