Senior Accountant

The Senior Accountant position at WBM Technologies LP is a permanent full-time position with a proposed start date of October 1, 2023.
This position will work from WBM’s Saskatoon office directly with our accounting and finance team members, WBM’s sales team, as well as other senior leaders at WBM.
Qualifications:
The candidate has post-secondary education in accounting (e.g., Bachelor of Commerce Degree with a focus in accounting). The candidate should have at least two years of professional experience with desire to further advance career and challenge level over time through both education and responsibilities. WBM supports the CPA PEP program.
Key Responsibilities:
A breadth of accounting and finance duties will be performed, allowing the successful candidate to develop technical skills in an array of areas which would primarily include:
- Leasing: Administer and manage third-party leases for our customer community, maintain business relationships with various leasing partners, and work strategically with internal and customer stakeholders ensuring best in breed market solution advised for WBM’s customers.
- Full-cycle accounting for various corporate and operating entities.
- Reporting projects – using Microsoft applications including Power BI and Dynamics 365 to identify and assess trends and KPIs
- Assistance in designing and implementing automation of certain accounting functions and processes.
- Other special project opportunities
- Commitment and dedication to furthering professional development and education with pursuit of CPA designation
- Exhibit professional behaviour and mentorship to future accounting coop and/or CPA students
