Apple Awards WBM with Authorized Partner Status

Apple Canada announced a move into the province of Saskatchewan through an Enterprise partner relationship with WBM!

Jeff Cates (Commercial Division Manager) and Brian Hutchinson (Apple System Engineer) from Apple Canada were at TCU Place for the very special announcement about Apple launching their first Saskatchewan-based solution provider partnership.

“We started looking over the last two years what partners we had on board to help enterprise customers as they look at embracing Apple products, to help them with deployment and their strategy,” said Cates. “We kind of left Saskatchewan, weren’t sure which market or what partner to go after. And then when we started looking into it, every sign said WBM – from the VentureTech Network to many of the customers we deal with.”

“We are really excited as a team to be on this road with Apple,” said JoeAnne Hardy, President of WBM. “It is something we have been working very hard to pursue at your (WBM’s clients) suggestion. This is a direction that many of your organizations have gone in and we want to be there with you to support you.”

Achieving the Apple Enterprise Partner Authorization has involved a great deal of effort on the part of WBM’s technical and sales departments, to the tune of the completion of over 150 certification courses with more training to come.

“We’ve been incredibly pleased with how quickly WBM has embraced their mobility strategy and how they fit Apple into that,” continued Cates. “Thank you for all the hard work in a very short period of time to get where we are today.”
