WBM Announces a New Strategic Partnership to Acquire Celero IT Procurement Services
Saskatoon, Saskatchewan – February 10, 2023 – WBM is pleased to announce the acquisition of the IT Procurement Services Operation of Celero through a new Strategic Partnership. Under the arrangement, the IT procurement services previous provided by Celero for both internal and client needs will be seamlessly transitioned to WBM Technologies, effective February, 2023.
Celero acts as the stewards of the banking technology systems powering the Credit Union landscape, providing digital leadership toward a vision for a secure, integrated and innovative digital ecosystem, and has been offering IT procurement services to their clients for many years.
Recognizing the critical nature of these services, Celero undertook an evaluation process in search of a partnership for procurement services which would provide enhanced long-term value for itself and it’s valued clients. WBM Technologies was selected as not only a national leader in the technology procurement space, but also as a values aligned organization capable of ensuring both promising career for employees moving forward, as well as a world class experience for Celero customers.

Under the partnership, the Celero Procurement team, and the services previously offered by Celero will be seamlessly transitioned to WBM Technologies. Through WBM, all of the services previously provided will continue, ranging from order fulfillment and contract management, while new services will be available including customized online procurement portals, and access to WBM Warehousing and Logistics facilities for on demand available and enhanced lifecycle and asset management services.
In recent years, WBM Procurement services have collected awards ranging from HP North American Partner of the Year, Dell Partner of the Year in Canada, Microsoft Impact Award for Best Surface Partner in Canada, and Ingram Rocket Best Cloud Growth in Canada.
