WBM Works With the David Suzuki Foundation

WBM hosted “An Event for Change: Green Strategies in IT”, working with the David Suzuki Foundation. The attention of 275 members of the Saskatchewan and Alberta IT communities was focused on the opportunity to deliver environmentally sustainable solutions.

“WBM has successfully established itself as a leader in your community,” commented a rep from Hewlett-Packard. “Your Green IT seminar, endorsed by renowned environmentalist David Suzuki, was a milestone event.

The event featured an opening video message by Doctor David Suzuki, a Keynote by Dave Waldron (Director of Sustainability for the Foundation), and an overview of the David Suzuki Nature Challenge by coordinator Akua Schatz

“I applaud what WBM is doing here in Saskatchewan, and I encourage you to follow their lead,” said Waldron. “You have a real opportunity here with the work that is being done.”

The David Suzuki Foundation recognized WBM for Leadership in Environmental Sustainability from an IT Organization.
