WBM Technologies is excited to announce our selection as a finalist for the Microsoft Canada Surface IMPACT Award and the Microsoft Modern Workplace IMPACT Award.

The Microsoft Modern Workplace IMPACT Award recognizes outstanding achievement in driving innovation and customer value through transformative solutions using the Microsoft 365 platform, enabling and empowering businesses to achieve more.

The Surface IMPACT Award recognizes outstanding leadership in delivering superior End User Computing solutions, while generating industry leading growth, all while using Microsoft Surface devices to enable end users in new and exciting ways.

The selections are timely, considering not only the role of these technologies in empowering remote work in the face of a global pandemic, but also in aligning with the incredible transformations underway across the WBM client community in Western Canada.

“WBM is going to make it very difficult for the other finalists, with so many examples of innovation and leadership in delivering a stellar Surface and M365 experience, and with so many examples of world-class implementations including Farm Credit Canada, Blue Cross, SGI and the Government of Saskatchewan, ” stated Shelly Howard, Microsoft Canada.

WBM holds the highest Microsoft certification levels possible in numerous practice areas, including Gold Cloud Productivity and Gold Surface designations, indicative of the expertise, training, investments and customer success stories required to be considered for the Partner of the Year awards.

“This is a tremendous accomplishment, and I’m so happy for the many teams and individuals at WBM whose fantastic efforts, enthusiasm, and talents are validated with these nominations,” stated Brett Bailey, Vice President at WBM Technologies.  “But these selections are about more than us, they are reflective of the incredible community of customers we have around us.  Across Western Canada, we are seeing transformational leadership in pursuit of world-class technology enablement and a great technology experience.  We are so grateful to this amazing group for the opportunities they’ve provided us to learn, and to contribute to their visions.”

In naming WBM Technologies as a finalist, numerous customer success stories were cited. They included the use of Surface devices to drive efficiency and a world-class experience at Farm Credit Canada, to the incredible transformation at Blue Cross, where adoption of M365 has led to new Yammer-driven company communications and a secure modern workplace for remote work that allowed the organization to continue serving customers through the Covid-19 crisis.

In fact, since the emergence of Covid-19, WBM Technologies has migrated over 25,000 end users to remote work environments powered by Microsoft Teams and M365.

All award finalists will be recognized for their achievements, with the winners being announced during Microsoft President Kevin Peesker’s Canadian Keynote address to kick off Microsoft inspire 2020, a global event to be held virtually this year on July 20th.
