A Managed End User Computing Deployment Cycle
Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) supports more than 160 independent local co-operatives operating across 1,600 locations nationwide, strengthening communities through a trusted, member-owned model. Reliability is core to their mission, and it’s the same principle that has guided WBM’s decades-long partnership with FCL. Together, FCL has established a modern, consistent, and secure end user services program, beginning with a refresh of desktops, laptops, and monitors. The initiative prioritized user experience through a flexible, user focused refresh schedule that reduced disruption while driving productivity gains.

The Problem
Operating across a geographically dispersed network, FCL needed to modernize an aging and inconsistent end user computing environment under tight timelines. Success required executing a large‑scale device refresh with minimal disruption to users, consistent deployment standards across locations, and a delivery model that preserved internal IT’s strategic oversight while offloading execution‑level complexity.
The Solution
Through a structured deployment approach that combined best‑practice processes, coordinated field services, and strong partner alignment, FCL completed the refresh at scale. Legacy hardware was retired, asset data was validated, and a standardized, repeatable refresh program was established, resulting in an improved user experience and a stronger foundation for long‑term IT lifecycle management.
We went to great lengths to meet and exceed their expectations and most importantly be able to report on the overall satisfaction of the process.
