“Our team, our client community, and the partnerships we have across North America mean so much to me and those relationships are the things I cherish the most.”
Since joining the team in 1996, JoeAnne has had the privilege to work in, and be part of, building a very special organization… WBM.
JoeAnne describes her inspiration best by saying: “Growing up on an acreage near Maple Creek – watching my parents, my siblings and our friends and neighbors – taught me so many lessons about the importance of community, commitment and doing what you love, with people you love. It’s these lessons that still inspire me in the work I do every single day.”
Her career at WBM has spanned over 25 years across every aspect of WBM’s operations, focusing on building world-class operations through WBM’s many stages of growth and multiple acquisitions. Serving multiple terms as North American president for Trust X Alliance, a leading IT industry association, JoeAnne created a unique opportunity to build strong relationships, and lifelong friendships, across the industry. JoeAnne has been honored to be recognized by CDN Magazine as one of the top 10 women in IT in Canada.
JoeAnne loves spending time with family, especially planning big adventures with her husband Bob and their two fearless grandchildren.
In Brett’s office you’ll find a view of the South Saskatchewan River, his father’s old record player, a plethora of albums from the 80’s, and an old ship trophy indicating yet another dominant fantasy hockey season. There is a picture of his son Ethan on their boat, his daughters Lily at the Piano, Chloe with her horse, and his beautiful wife Shannon, who leads their family and inspires his work.
Born in Saskatoon, Brett has built his career in Marketing & Information Technology. He is a graduate of the University of Saskatchewan where he earned a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing, and where he discovered the power of culture and teams through his involvement in the AIESEC international student organization. Prior to his 21 years with WBM, Brett worked in Marketing to build the Saskatchewan Food Industry Association, before leading a Technology start-up through the dotcom crash and into the world of actual business operations. Today, Brett participates on a number of Technology Advisory Boards, helping to guide the next wave of great organizations forward.
He is passionate about everything he has around him – technology, great music, great wine, disc golf. Waskesiu Lake, surfing and skiing. His In-Fisherman ‘Master Angler’ designation, his friends, and traveling the world. He enjoys achieving what he sets his mind to, and seeing his family smile.
Brett’s role as a Partner and leader at WBM is to challenge the status quo, to honour the world class expectations that our people and our clients hold for us, and to help us see why it all matters.
Lee is a multi-talented individual who came to WBM with 18 plus years of working in the dairy industry. This diverse background taught him the skills of how to milk a cow and become a yogurt connoisseur… along with the more pertinent skills of running a high reach forklift!
A devoted family man and a leader in the community, Lee loves coaching kid’s sports and making a positive impact on kids’ lives by teaching them to lead a physically active lifestyle while finding their true passions. Lee is driven by the importance of family and community, and is a true team player who is inspired by being an active part of something that is bigger than himself.
Lee is one of those rare individuals who thrive in making everyone around him better. He is at his best when he knows he and his team members are making tangible contributions to the world around them. Portraying a sense of calm, stability, and humor in all situations, Lee relishes the unique opportunity to work with people that become long-term friends and to develop relationships that enrich lives.
From running Fantasy Football leagues, to running marathons, to running the logistics operation, Lee embodies the true spirit of what it is to be a WBM’er (and, of course, a yogurt connoisseur).

Born and raised in Saskatoon, Blaine has now been with WBM for nearly 12 years.
Prior to working at WBM, Blaine worked and then managed a local restaurant for 13 years. Always a people person, it was through the social connections fostered in his restaurant service career that ultimately connected him to WBM, where he has been part of the Print division since joining the team.
Blaine Sander began his career as a Print Specialist with WBM where he excelled in his role of optimizing customer fleet environments with WBM’s technology platforms. Parlaying this experience, Blaine now directs a Team of ten Print Technology Specialists in BC, Alberta and Saskatchewan, and also oversees WBM’s vast and dedicated Print Deployment Team. Blaine is actively involved with all of our major accounts in Print, providing management and governance with a focus on delivering value for the client organizations. What Blaine enjoys most about his work is his ability to provide help, insight, and leadership to his team, while always maintaining the balance of keeping his team’s work enjoyable and team-focused.
Outside of work, Blaine loves his large family that includes 5 beautiful children… Yes, 5 (so please give him a break if he hovers around the coffee machine too much in the morning!). Blaine’s family life is obviously busy and the Sander’s occupy their time with fun activities such as swimming, camping, movies and games. Despite his warm and congenial natural persona, Blaine maintains a competitive nature right beneath the surface whether it be in business or fun. He is the ‘self-declared’ ping-pong champion of WBM, and enjoys the thrill of playing or watching sports, board games, and even fantasy football!
Ash was born and raised under the fiery skies of the Saskatchewan prairies. After working for multiple call centers, he wanted to find an environment that valued free-thinking and autonomy. Taking what he learned about the importance of providing high-level customer service, Ash joined the WBM inside sales team in 2005. The fun yet competitive work environment and great people allowed his career to progress quickly; he moved from inside sales rep to Director of Procurement in 2014.
When Ash isn’t planning the next epic Festivus, he can be found with an old ship trophy in hand for winning his fantasy hockey league, occasionally awarded by WBM’s VP Brett Bailey, while Darth Vader plays fiery bagpipes on a unicycle in the background (yes, that really happened!). All jokes aside, Ash loves to give back to the incredible company culture that drew him to WBM at the start. He often plans fun events for staff and clients and, thanks to his competitive nature, always aims to make each event better than the last.
Outside of work, Ash enjoys spending time with his wife and children doing things like BBQing, playing bocce ball, and simply enjoying their backyard oasis. In the winter, Ash loves to hit the slopes and track his speed on a snowboard – the current time to beat is 75km/hr!
Ash’s role as a leader at WBM is to nurture strong partnerships with vendors, continuously offer value in client relationships, and mentor future leaders in the organization. His ultimate goal is to ensure that a powerful legacy of world-class customer service and company culture lives long into the future.
