The WBM Leadership team is a diverse group of people, passionate about the teams they lead, and how we all come together around our client community. We think we’re a little different, but we wouldn’t have it any other way.
Inspiring a Vision, Navigating Opportunity
WBM Leadership Team Goal Setting at the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic, Halifax, N.S.
Since joining the team in 1996, JoeAnne has had the privilege to work in, and be part of, building a very special organization….WBM.
JoeAnne describes her inspiration best by saying: “Growing up on an acreage near Maple Creek – watching my parents, my siblings and our friends and neighbors – taught me so many lessons about the importance of commitment, passion and doing what you love, with people you love. It’s these lessons that still inspire me in the work I do every single day.”
As you can imagine from someone who grew up on a ranch in South West Saskatchewan, JoeAnne is a serious morning person, a “pretty good” horseback rider, and an avid runner.
JoeAnne’s career at WBM has spanned over two decades and she has literally worked in every aspect of the WBM operation during those years. This experience has given her a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities that exist in every aspect of the organization. Her unique ability to communicate and build alignment, or “wins”, for stakeholders in all situations is a rare gift that propels her as a leader.
More than anything, JoeAnne is authentic. It is why when she says things like the following, you know it comes from the heart:
“Our team, our client community, and the partnerships we have across North America mean so much to me and those relationships are the things I cherish the most.”
Bob Hardy Vice President
When getting to know Bob Hardy, there are really only two things you need to understand that he can’t get enough of: his grandson, and golf! Well…can you blame him?!?
As a partner and Vice President at WBM, Bob maintains the responsibility for real estate and development. He is focused on identifying opportunities for, and the creation of, best in class facilities across Western Canada.
Born and raised in Saskatchewan, Bob’s background is in construction. He owned a local construction company in Saskatoon before starting his career in sales at WBM in 1990. From the early days selling electronic cash registers, to the years spent building what became one of the country’s best procurement services operations, and then finally buying the business with his partners in 2008, Bob is inspired by watching and mentoring the leadership team as it grows and evolves into one of Canada’s leading IT Services organizations.
In life, and on the golf course, Bob is a straight-shooter with a quick wit and a firm hand shake. Just make sure you ask for a couple of strokes if you find yourself alone on the tee box with him one day!
Brett Bailey Vice President
In Brett’s office you’ll find a view of the South Saskatchewan River, a record player, albums from the 80’s, and an old ship trophy indicating yet another dominant fantasy hockey season. There is a picture of his son Ethan on their boat, his daughters Lily at the Piano, Chloe with her horse, and his beautiful wife Shannon, who leads their family and inspires his work.
Born in Saskatoon, Brett has built his career in Marketing & Information Technology. He is a graduate of the University of Saskatchewan where he earned a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing, and where he discovered the power of culture and teams through his involvement in the AIESEC international student organization. Prior to his 15 years with WBM, Brett worked in Marketing to build the Saskatchewan Food Processors Association, before leading a Technology startup through the dotcom crash and into the world of actual business operation. Today, Brett participates on a number of Technology Advisory Boards, helping to guide the next wave of great organizations forward.
He is passionate about everything he has around him. Technology. Disc golf. Waskesui Lake. Great Music. Great Wine. Skiing. Surfing. F1 racing. His In-Fisherman Master Angler fishing designation. His friends, and traveling the world. He enjoys achieving what he sets his mind to, and seeing his family smile.
Brett’s role as a Partner and leader at WBM is to challenge the status quo, to honour the world class expectations that our people and our clients hold for us, and to help us see why it all matters.
Born and raised in Saskatoon, Blaine has now been with WBM for nearly 12 years.
Prior to working at WBM, Blaine worked and then managed a local restaurant for 13 years. Always a people person, it was through the social connections fostered in his restaurant service career that ultimately connected him to WBM, where he has been part of the Print division since joining the team.
Blaine Sander began his career as a Print Specialist with WBM where he excelled in his role of optimizing customer fleet environments with WBM’s technology platforms. Parlaying this experience, Blaine now directs a Team of ten Print Technology Specialists in BC, Alberta and Saskatchewan, and also oversees WBM’s vast and dedicated Print Deployment Team. Blaine is actively involved with all of our major accounts in Print, providing management and governance with a focus on delivering value for the client organizations. What Blaine enjoys most about his work is his ability to provide help, insight, and leadership to his team, while always maintaining the balance of keeping his team’s work enjoyable and team-focused.
Outside of work, Blaine loves his large family that includes 5 beautiful children… Yes, 5 (so please give him a break if he hovers around the coffee machine too much in the morning!). Blaine’s family life is obviously busy and the Sander’s occupy their time with fun activities such as swimming, camping, movies and games. Despite his warm and congenial natural persona, Blaine maintains a competitive nature right beneath the surface whether it be in business or fun. He is the ‘self-declared’ ping-pong champion of WBM, and enjoys the thrill of playing or watching sports, board games, and even fantasy football!
Byron Klassen Director, Print Service
Born and raised in Saskatchewan, Byron began his career with WBM in 1978… Yes, 1978!!
Byron began his career at WBM as a technician where he honed his customer service skills by servicing a diverse portfolio of clients over a vast territory. The experience he gained providing best in class service to customers throughout his career as a technician led him to his current position as Director of Managed Print Services – a group which is the envy of Managed Service providers across Canada.
Byron is proud to lead a team that is truly focused on delivering client-centric services to WBM’s business community. Keeping his team motivated and happy is of utmost importance to Byron as he knows this ultimately results in great customer experiences.
One of Byron’s benchmark accomplishments was in exceeding industry standard productivity and finical benchmarks resulting in the Pros Elite 100 Certification as one of the top 100 Managed Print Service providers in North America.
Byron is an outdoorsman who loves going camping with the family. His free time is spent hunting down “that trophy fish”! With Byron’s persistence, we know it is just a matter of time before it makes it up there on his office wall (he’s only been searching for it for 50 years so far)!
Paul Cluett Director of Enterprise IT Services
Paul was the first baby born in 1977 in Flin Flon Manitoba, but spent the next 40 years of his life moving to and from Saskatoon, where he finally settled for good in 2013. He attended the University of Saskatchewan and graduated in 2000 with a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in History.
After a brief stint in telemarketing, Paul started with an HR software company in Saskatoon, entitled “cfactor”. At “cfactor”, Paul honed his craft of dealing with large and complex clients where he managed software deployments and maintained a stellar client list with the likes of Starbucks and Pepsi. Paul spent a little over 8 years with cfactor helping manage its growth from 11 employees to just over 60. During this time, he developed his passion for meeting with prospective companies and enabling their business outcomes through technology.
In August of 2011, Paul joined WBM in a leadership capacity. Having had many successful friends that were already working with WBM, he jumped at the opportunity to take the next step in his career. Today, Paul leads one of WBM’s most accomplished teams of nearly 70 IT professionals who are responsible for the growth and delivery of two of WBM’s fastest growing business units. He is relentlessly committed to helping WBM achieve its big hairy audacious goal of becoming the #1 managed IT services organization in Western Canada.
When not travelling to WBM’s various locations throughout Western Canada, Paul spends his time exploring Saskatoon with his wife, six-year old son Matthew and four-year old daughter Cassidy.
Cory Faber Director, End User Computing Operations
Cory was born in Regina, but spent his formative years growing up in the bustling town of… Faro, Yukon. Now that’s a conversation starter if there ever was one! He now lives and works in Regina where he shares his rich history of working in the IT industry for the past 20 years. Primarily focused on providing Managed IT Services in Networking and Unix Systems Administration, Cory also had a “stint” managing in a high-volume call center for a Major US Wireless Carrier.
Cory is a tireless worker whose dry wit and sense of humour mask a drive and keen attention to detail that motivates his team every day. He’s a true Canadian. Humble, hard-working, and devoted to his family, friends, and co-workers. In his spare time, you can find Cory deep in thought reading – his favorites being Science Fiction, Military History, and News – adding to his vinyl Jazz record collection, gardening, or simply enjoying the outdoors. If he strikes you as the kind of person you’d really like to sit down and have a cup of coffee with, well then, you’re on the right track!
Jody Sagen Director, Managed IT Solutions
Jody has been an integral member of WBM Technologies in Saskatoon for over 14 years. He began his career at WBM as an Account Manager, where he worked tirelessly in cultivating meaningful and lasting relationships between WBM and all of Saskatchewan’s Health Regions. WBM owes much of its recognition as being one of Western Canada’s largest providers of Managed Print Services to Health Regions across Western Canada as a result of Jody’s work in this field.
During his time as an Account Manager, Jody was able to interact with non-technical end users and learned a great deal regarding the effect, both positive and negative, that technology can play in the life of the ‘every day’ end user. He developed a keen interest in developing a methodology where interacting with technology user’s groups and understanding the user experience would lead to more consistent outcomes and innovation in how technology could be utilized in the enterprise. Today, WBM employs a version of this methodology in our Data & Security Practice to help align customer needs with WBM solutions.
Jody’s current focus is to continue establishing greater alignment with the Client Community by establishing world class solutions that match end-user requirement and desired outcomes of our customers.
Jody was raised on a farm and is proud of his heritage as a ‘small town’ boy who went to a ‘small town’ school in Saskatchewan! Jody currently lives is Saskatoon and is a devoted husband and father of two children.

Lee Branstetter Director, Logistics & Warehousing
Lee is a multi-talented individual who came to WBM with 18 plus years of working in the dairy industry. This diverse background taught him the skills of how to milk a cow and become a yogurt connoisseur… along with the more pertinent skills of running a high reach forklift!
A devoted family man and a leader in the community, Lee loves coaching kid’s sports and making a positive impact on kid’s lives by teaching them to lead a physically active lifestyle while finding their true passions. Lee is driven by the importance of family and community, and is a true team player who is inspired by being an active part of something that is bigger than himself.

From running Fantasy Football leagues, to running marathons, to running the logistics operation, Lee embodies the true spirit of what it is to be a WBM’er (and, of course, a yogurt connoisseur).
Ashley Schell Director, Inside Sales Group
Born and raised in Regina, Ashley moved to Saskatoon in 2002 and began his career at WBM shortly after. Originally in Inside Sales, Ashley moved up in the organization by providing knowledge, leadership, and experience in navigating the sometimes-complex world of procurement in the distribution channel.
Parlaying his 12 years of experience in IT and working in call centers, Ashley naturally transitioned into a leadership role at WBM and now is the Director of Inside Sales.
Ashley relishes the role of being a sounding board to members of his team, and loves to provide constructive feedback to help everyone reach their full potential.
Ashley is a big picture person who thinks and dreams big. His infectious personality is constantly on display while doing the things he loves: playing guitar, video games, socializing, disc golf, beach volleyball and dodgeball.
We sincerely hope he realizes one of his longer-term goals of owning a bar on the beach of Costa Rica as we’d love to join him for a drink or two there!
